Sky Mavis, the developer behind the Ronin blockchain, has publicly accused Ragnarok: Monster World (RMW) of violating a preexisting agreement by secretly signing a deal with another blockchain. The mobile fantasy game, which operates on both Ronin and Cross protocols, allegedly ignored Sky Mavis’ advice and subsequently lost community support.

Aleksander Larsen, co-founder of Sky Mavis, claims the RMW team failed to adapt to increased competition after Ronin transitioned to a permissionless chain in February. This shift allowed developers to build on Ronin without Sky Mavis’ approval, but RMW’s alleged breach has sparked tensions within the ecosystem.
